Had a great time competing this past weekend in LFC3. I have so many people that I’m grateful to for making this happen. Thanks to my coaches and for a great game plan and countless hours of preparation. Thanks to for providing a very professional, safe, and fun environment for fighting. Thanks to my opponent, for pushing the pace and beating me up a bit. And thanks to all the people who supported me, and for attending and all of you who watched the livestream. It was fun fighting and knowing that you were all out there rooting for me.
Now it’s back to work.

making me feel especially old today. Congrats to her and her husband on the next step in their life together.
It’s hard for me to express how proud I am of this young woman. I met Sarah when she was an eager, wide eyed, baby giraffe of a lacrosse player about 15 years ago. She was one of the first athletes that I coached that I formed a strong bond with. One that would ultimately lead to this special moment. Since that first meeting she’s gone on to do so many awesome things including a couple national championships as a part of OSU’s crew team, to earning her PhD in biomechanics, a post-doc position at Harvard, and now a job with the Indiana Pacers.
There’s no greater reward for me than to see one of my athletes living their best life. Thank you Sarah, for this.

One of our ASP all time great athletes stopped in today to introduce the next generation to the gym. I started training .v.marshall the summer after 7th grade (2006) and have seen her grow from a little kid into an amazing athlete and wonderful woman.
Making me feel old over here.

You have to shoulder the 250 and under or out the big boys over a 48” bar if you want to put your name on one.

We’re down for the moment but we’ll be back stronger than ever.
