Hello friends!

I’m excited to share that Ballet Caraïbes children’s classes are starting in Northside next week. This moment feels especially meaningful to me—it brings me back to something I did many moons ago, in another land, when I created the Dominica Children’s School of Dance just for children.

It’s beautiful to see how ideas, traditions, and even costumes have been preserved and are now inspiring a new generation. I often use the word “antic”—that joyful spark—when children get to dance with an umbrella or a skirt. So many little hands have held those same pieces over time, and now they continue their journey with new young dancers.

We will also be offering classes for teens and adults soon, so stay tuned!
