Happy Saturday Hornets nation, and after what seemed like a really long 2 week hiatus it is GAME DAY!!!! Today our Hornets take on the visiting Warriors. First pitch is scheduled for 3:30pm, there is 13u Hornet baseball action at 1:30pm for those who may want to arrive early and watch. Its a beautiful day, Lefty's is open for any food and beverage needs. Let's get loud and proud for our boys at Haubner today 💚⚾️🖤

There may be no Game Day this week Hornets Nation, however that doesn't mean we can't celebrate. Going beyond the Baseball diamond into the classroom this week. Lets give it up to our very own Tyler Tapke this week. Tyler received First Honors for all his hard work in school. When he's not taking the mound, making a catch in the outfield or getting a hit when his team needs it, Tyler is quite the Scholar. Congrats Tyler and best of luck heading into 8th Grade

A Huge Hornets HAPPY BIRTHDAY is in order for our very own bit of "Lefty magic" Keller Tiettmeyer. Keller wanted a win for his birthday and he and his teammates battled this afternoon to deliver that win. Including Keller himself getting 3 RBI's with the bat he received as a birthday gift. Happy Birthday Keller 💚⚾️🖤

Apologies for being late on this, but whew it has been a busy week. Happy belated Mother's day to all of our Hornet moms, we had quite the weekend last week in the Mother's Day Maddness tournament. Huge thanks go out to all who made the voyage out to Warren County Sports Park last Saturday and Sunday. Even bigger Thank you goes out to those who brought food, snacks and drinks to share between games. Coach Myke's grilled hot dogs were a big hit with everyone 😋. Although the tournament did not come with the outcome we may have wanted, these resilient Hornets definitely spent the next 3 games showing they dont stay down for long as they went 3-0 At Haubner this week. There is still plenty more Hornets Baseball to come stay tuned 💚⚾️🖤

We’ve coached alongside this guy for a number of years. He brings energy, heart, and just the right amount of competitive fire that makes the Hornets better every single practice and game. The kids are lucky to have him, and honestly, so are the rest of us coaches.

Myke, you pour into these kids in ways that go way beyond the game, and that’s what makes you special. Hope your birthday is a good one and we can celebrate a W this weekend. 🙌

All apologies here from the staff this is a couple weeks late but definitely overdue, going beyond the Baseball diamond. In the midst of the commotion of the busy tournament weekend we had just a couple weeks ago. Our Hornets own Noah Findley also not only competed in but he and his team won their bracket of the Mid American Soccer Classic in Fairfield. So to recap Noah and his family went from a Baseball game to a soccer game only to come back and play another baseball game, only to repeat that on Sunday and help his team to victory, and then help his Hornets team to a 2nd place tournament ring. Hats off to Noah and the entire Findley family for the hardwork and dedication. Congrats Noah and his Soccer team in their championship.
