I am looking for anyone who knows someone who lives in Vietnam??Preferably near Ho Chi Minh City.
I am trying to locate some Vietnamese
Rosewood large enough for a guitar.
Ho Chi Minh supposedly has the largest concentration of guitar makers in the country.
Any help would be appreciated.

This is my latest guitar. It was made for an organization called “Operation Song”. It is an organization in Nashville that pairs up singer/songwriters with veterans to create songs about their experiences as a healing process.
This instrument has a WWII theme, the rosette is an aerial view of the WWII memorial in Washington DC. The rest of the instrument inlays and designs are all dedicated to the WWII effort.
The sketches on the top are of memorials of WWII battles considered to be 5 of the most decisive battles of the war. Midway, Bulge, D-Day, Iwo Jima, Pearl Harbor. davisguitars.

This is my latest guitar creation. It has a C8 Corvette theme, with a body shape of the Stingray emblem found on the car. All the features on the instrument are all C8 Corvette related. It has a Sitka spruce carved arched top and the sides and back are quilted maple. It has the history of the Corvette (C1 to C7 on the sides and C8 on the back) they are illustrated in ink on the wood by my artist friend (Rally Horton) as to not effect the sound. All inlays are Mother of Pearl, Abalone and ebony.

2 additional guitars. One 6 string Banjar Model with East Indian Rosewood back and sides and Sitka spruce top with beveled edge top and a 17" Jazz Model with European Spruce top, European Flamed Maple back and sides and Rosewood neck. Rosewood is not traditional for necks on Jazz but that is what the client wanted as well as a green faded finish. A fantastic instrument.

Another completed guitar. It is a OM model with flamed Koa back and sides, ceder top and slotted head, incredible tone for new instrument.

One of my latest guitars I made for a very talented young lady (Sam) you can find her on instagram (sammelodyy) or Youtube (Sam Melodyy). It is a all Koa guitar with a Fishman onboard under saddle and microphone pick-up system.

For the Bengal fan desperate to find something that "plays great" during a football game. It won't fumble, drop passes, make rude gestures to the crowds, cause personal fouls, miss field goals, will play all 4 quarters and you will be proud to say it is from Cincinnati...

My latest creation.This Jazz guitar is made from European Spruce and European curly maple. My client wanted a brown color, I was not sure how it would turn out since I do not use much color on my guitars but it turned out beautiful.

The "Bengals" theme guitar also features an illustration of most of the Bengals players and coaches and also includes Paul Brown stadium, Cincinnati sky light, and much, much more. The illustration was done by Rally, a friend of mine with amazing talent. This illustration is a must see in person even if you are not a Bengals fan from Cincy, pictures does not do it justice.
