🎃🫧 A little Halloween magic in the classroom this week! ✨

Our wonderful art teacher, Miss Jess, stopped by for a special Halloween-inspired activity! She started by reading a fun story about a witch, sparking the children’s imaginations before they got busy creating their very own bubbling cauldrons! 🧙‍♀️🪄

This hands-on activity was a wonderful way for our preschoolers to explore their creativity, strengthen fine motor skills, and enjoy some Halloween fun!

Thank you, Miss Jess, for bringing a little extra magic to our classroom! 🧡✨

☀️ A day in our Sunbursts classroom at Tumble and Learn Preschool! ☀️

Our days are filled with active play, hands-on exploration, fine motor activities, and meaningful learning experiences. 🌱

Providing children with a variety of age-appropriate activities encourages curiosity, supports brain development, and helps build important skills as they grow. Every activity is an opportunity to explore, discover, and learn!

📅 Why do we do Calendar Time in preschool?

Calendar Time may look like a simple part of our morning, but there is SO much learning happening! 🤍

Each day, our preschoolers practice:
✨ Recognizing days of the week and months of the year
✨ Understanding yesterday, today & tomorrow
✨ Counting and number recognition
✨ Learning about seasons and weather
✨ Recognizing patterns and routines
✨ Building vocabulary and communication skills
✨ Practicing listening, patience, and taking turns

Most importantly, Calendar Time helps our kiddos begin to understand the concept of time and routine. They start connecting what we talk about to their own lives—school days, weekends, birthdays, holidays, seasons, and special events!

These little daily routines build BIG kindergarten-readiness skills. 🥰📚
