Maybe nobody has ever given you permission to follow your dream.

So today, I will.

Too many people are stuck in jobs or careers they don’t love simply because the paycheck is dependable, the bills keep coming, and walking away feels too risky.

I understand that.

Nine years ago, I had a very good career in the apparel and promotional products industry. I had stability, experience, relationships, and a solid career path.

But I also felt God pulling me toward something different.

I felt called to make a greater impact in my community and use the gifts and experiences He had given me for something more.

So I took a risk.

I left a good job and went full-time building a local nonprofit.

For the next nine years, that decision gave me the opportunity to serve people, help families, impact our community, and be part of things I never could have imagined when we started.

And I don’t regret that decision for a minute.

But here’s the important part…

You do NOT have to quit your job to follow your dream.

For most people, that probably isn’t even the smartest first step.

Keep your job.

Pay your bills.

Take care of your family.

But please don’t let your dream die.

Build it at night.

Work on it on Saturday mornings.

Give it a few hours on the weekend.

Start the business.

Launch the nonprofit.

Create the ministry.

Write the book.

Coach the kids.

Develop the product.

Start helping the people God keeps putting on your heart.

You would be amazed at what can happen when you consistently give a dream five or ten hours a week.

Sometimes we spend years waiting for someone else to give us permission.

A parent.

A spouse.

A boss.

A coworker.

A friend.

But if God has placed something on your heart, maybe you don’t need everyone else to understand it first.

You just need to start.

Start small.

Be responsible.

Take calculated risks.

Use the gifts God gave you.

Follow the passions He put inside you.

And take the first step.

Your job may pay your bills today…

…but your God-given purpose may become part of the legacy you leave behind.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.”
— Colossians 3:23

So maybe somebody needs to hear this today:

Don’t let your dream die just because your current job feels safe.

You don’t have to change your entire life tomorrow.

Just start.

Hey everyone, I will be at my office tomorrow (Saturday) between 12 PM and 2 PM if you wanted to come by and take a look at the cleats and or gloves. We are at 10440 Main St. in Clarence, but our door to our office is on the west side of the building facing Hillcrest. We do not have a credit card machine anymore so it will be cash or Venmo only. $40 for the cleats and $20 for the gloves.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to bring it to your attention that I do still have brand new football cleats and wide receiver gloves. The new cleats start at size adult 12 and go up to adult 16 and the Under Armour receiver gloves start at adult XL up to 4XL. Cleats are just $40 and Gloves are $20. We are at the same address 10440 Main St. in Clarence, but our office door is on the west side of the building. We do not have open hours but we can meet by appointment.
