Meet Amy Postel, our Director of Operations! 🌟

Amy joined Dominique Dawes Academy in January 2023, right as we were preparing to open our second location in Rockville. Gymnastics has been part of her story since she was a little girl, and her love for working with kids took root at 16 when she worked as a gymnastics camp counselor.

Before coming to Maryland, Amy spent 13 years as a Gymnastics Director in Dallas, TX, building a culture rooted in community, fun, and learning. Now she's bringing that same heart to Dominique Dawes Academy, making sure our business runs smoothly so our coaches can focus on what matters most: your kids.

Outside of work, you'll find Amy hiking, reading, or spending time with her family. She's also a die-hard NCAA basketball and gymnastics fan!

Completely normal, and completely okay.

Fear usually shows up right before a breakthrough. Our coaches don't rush kids past it, they sit with it. Small progressions, lots of encouragement, and zero judgment until that skill feels safe to try.
