Thanks to Oakland Schools Technical Program and Preservation Clarkston, work is underway at American Legion Chief Pontiac baseball field.

I regret to announce the passing away of Baseball Bob Eggert. Bob was the biggest supporter of the American Legion Baseball program and Chief Pontiac Baseball Club. I’m going to miss him in his favorite place, the announcers booth.

1st day back in the booth with Baseball Bob, warming up the field and the scoreboard!!

Ran into “Baseball” Bob at an orange stand in Florida on my way to Orlando for college spring training.
Bob has been involved with Legion baseball for many years and is our booth announcer. Can’t wait for the season to start!

Our final uniform piece is the "Big Chief" T-Hoodie. Great for pre and post game wear! Practice starts next month!
