Our tent of 4 teams was super comfy at a balmy 116° up in the peak of our e z up
but we didn’t let a little sweat ruin our cook…lol. Congrats to my bro Matt Brennan for an overall 3rd in points!!

2025 was our slowest year for comps since my first year as Kevlar Bbq in 2016. We cooked only 4 KCBS comps and was part of Heath Riles BBQ’s championship team winning Memphis In May and going to The Jack!

Getting married was my biggest win, let alone doing it in Hawaii ❤️ I married my best friend, Megan!!

Now in 2026, it’s time to get back to business! I’ve signed up for my first 3 comps which all are in Michigan. Hopefully we can get at least 10 comps in this year and get to having some fun!
