Life is hard. Every day asks something of us—who we'll be and how we'll show up. Thriving takes strength. https://www.crossfitliminal.com/programs/get-started

We build it here, so you can live fully now—and still be doing life on your terms at 90.

You know who goes on a trip like this?

People who've earned a weekend that has nothing to do with work, nothing to do with their to-do list, and everything to do with good people and a really great river.

That's who's going to the NOC.

September 11–13, a group of us are heading to the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, NC for two nights in the mountains. Yoga, meditation and breathwork each morning. A full day on the Nantahala River — guided, no experience needed, pure fun. Dinner together, campfire after, the kind of conversations that happen when phones are down and there's nowhere else to be.

Deposits hold your spot and close June 8.

This trip is open to current members and one guest each.

We spend a lot of hours together in this gym. This is what happens when we take that outside — into the mountains, off the clock, and fully present.

If you've been thinking about it, now's the time. Link in bio to sign up through Push Press.

You've done the work before. You know what it feels like when things are clicking — the food is dialed in, the energy is there, the habits are stacking.

And you probably know what it feels like when they're not.

Structure disappears. Things drift. It's not a willpower problem. It's a systems problem.

Our nutrition partners at Healthy Steps Nutrition just rebuilt their app from the ground up — and this thing is genuinely different. It's not a calorie tracker. It's the same habit-based coaching system that earned them the top spot in the country for habit-based nutrition coaching in 2025, now in your pocket.

Here's what's inside: science-backed nutrition lessons, a recipe database built by registered dietitians with a grocery list that populates in seconds, AI-powered meal photo feedback (you take a picture — it tells you what's in it), sleep and movement tracking, and a community to do it alongside.

Everything in one place. No more cobbling stuff together.

For our members, there's a discounted rate available through our partnership with HSN. Talk to a coach to get the details.

The next 90 days are coming either way. Might as well have the right tools.

There's a version of you that almost didn't walk through that door the first time. This week that person hit 500 classes. That's worth celebrating.

Congrats, Nury! 🎉

Nury is the real deal — CrossFit coach, coaches our Latine class in Spanish, doctoral degree, and one of the first faces our newest members see when they walk in. The list goes on.

But that's not why we love her.

We love her because...she's Nury. And if you've met her, you already know exactly what that means.

So grateful you're part of this community.

Cheers to the next 500. 🥂

Nobody builds a healthy life in one dramatic moment.

It happens in the small stuff. The boring stuff. The things that take ten minutes or less and don't feel like much on any given day — but add up to everything over time.

30 grams of protein at breakfast. Start the day with enough fuel and you'll make better decisions the rest of it. Skip it and you'll be chasing your energy all day.

A 10-minute walk after dinner. Not a workout. Just a walk. It improves digestion, lowers blood sugar, and winds your nervous system down. Ten minutes.

7+ hours of sleep. This is where your body actually repairs itself. No supplement, no workout, no nutrition plan works as well when you're running on six hours. Sleep is the habit that makes every other habit work better.

8 glasses of water per day. Most people are mildly dehydrated most of the time and don't know it. Headaches, low energy, poor focus — often it's just this.

30 minutes of movement. Doesn't have to be intense. Doesn't have to be CrossFit. It just has to happen. Most days.

15 minutes of self-care. Whatever that means for you — quiet, prayer, journaling, stretching. Fifteen minutes where you're not producing or consuming anything. Just present.

None of this is revolutionary. All of it works.

Pick one to start. Then add another. That's how it actually gets built.

Follow the link in bio if you'd like to talk to a nutrition coach about how to build in simple habits to change your life.

Here's something nobody told you in your 30s.

After 30, you start losing muscle. Roughly 3–8% per decade. After 60, it accelerates. By the time you're 80, you've lost a third of the muscle you had at 30 — unless you did something about it.

That's not a scare tactic. That's the timeline.

And here's the part most folks don't hear until it's late: cardio doesn't stop it. Walking doesn't stop it. Pilates won't stop it. Yoga won't stop it. Eating clean won't stop it. None of those things are bad — they're just not the answer to this problem like resistance training.

The only thing that builds muscle is asking your muscles to do something hard, on a regular basis, for years.

That means lifting weights. Real weights. With a real coach, real progression, real load.

People who do this don't just look strong. They are strong. Their bones are denser. They recover faster. They sleep better. They fall less. They age slower. They walk into rooms differently. They pick up their kids differently. They carry groceries to the third floor differently.

The version of you at 80 — the one who's still hiking, still gardening, still picking up their grandkids, still living in her own house — that person exists because of the work you do now.

At CrossFit Liminal, our 90 Day Transformation is the entry point. 4 personal training sessions to learn the basics. Nutrition coaching. An intro to group classes when you're ready. A plan that fits your body, your schedule, and your goals. A coach who knows your name. A supportive community to do it with.

You don't need to be in shape to start. You don't need to be young. You don't need a single piece of CrossFit experience.

You just need to start.

Book an intro appointment in the link in bio. We'll meet, we'll talk, we'll show you the space. No pressure, no pitch, no commitment. Just a conversation about what the next chapter of yourlife could look like.

The strongest version of you is still ahead of you. But only if you train her in.

Tired of feeling out of shape, unsure of yourself in the gym, or like your body isn't doing what you want it to?

Strength isn't just about lifting more weight. It's about feeling capable. Confident. In control of your body in a way you may not have felt in a long time.

That's what we build here.

Our 90 Day Onramp starts with 4 personal training sessions where you learn to move correctly, build a foundation, and gain real confidence — not the fake kind from motivational quotes, but the kind that comes from actually doing hard things.

Then group classes push you further. Week by week, you get stronger. You walk taller. You stop second-guessing yourself.

Step 1: Sign up for Onramp.
Step 2: Train with coaches who know what they're doing.
Step 3: Feel the confidence you've been wanting.

The wellness industry wants you to believe you're one hack away from figuring it out.

You're not.

Real health — the kind that lets you still be doing hard things at 80 — comes from doing the unglamorous stuff consistently. Not perfectly. Consistently.

Six things that actually move the needle:

Nutrition. Enough protein, real food most of the time, a sustainable approach you don't have to white-knuckle.

Exercise. Lift. Move. Get your heart rate up. Do it regularly for years. That's the secret.

Sleep. Seven to nine hours isn't a luxury — it's when your body actually repairs itself.

Stress management. Chronic stress is a physical problem. You need a real way to decompress, not just survive.

Lifestyle. What happens between your workouts matters more than most people think.

Support system. You're more likely to stay consistent when you're not doing it alone.

None of this is groundbreaking. All of it works.

That's where real results happen.

500 classes.

That's not a number you stumble into. That's showing up — on tired legs, on busy weeks, on days when you really didn't want to.

This week, two of our own hit that milestone within days of each other.

One of them supplies the beer. The other makes it. Between the two of them, they've also given us 1,000 reasons to have one — 500 each, earned the hard way.

Jon: Appreciate your generosity, encouragement, willingness to do the hard things, and keeping 2Pood in business

Jenn: Love your dedication to nutrition and fitness and desire to help others + deadlift GOALS

500 classes means you've been here for the hard ones and the fun ones. The ones where everything clicked and the ones where nothing did. You kept coming back anyway.

That's not just fitness. That's character.

Jon and Jenn — thank you for being part of what makes this place what it is.

Here's to the next 500. 🍺

You signed up. Maybe you even showed up for a while. But no one told you what to do, you weren't sure how to push yourself, and eventually you stopped going.

That's not on you.

A gym membership without coaching is just a monthly bill. Without guidance, accountability, and a plan, most people quit — not because they don't care, but because nothing is set up for them to succeed.

That's exactly what our 90 Day Onramp is designed to fix.

We don't hand you a key fob and wish you luck. We guide you step by step — starting with 4 personal training sessions to build confidence, then into group classes where coaches and community keep you moving forward.

This time will be different.

Not because you'll suddenly have more willpower — but because you'll have the right support.
