Dear Colleagues:

I hope that everyone has enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and are looking forward to a great new year!

The Tai Chi-Qigong for L.I.F.E. teachers are looking forward to a wonderful new year providing insightful lessons through our internal arts classes. It is said (according to the Holy Vedas) that, "wisdom comes to a one who lives their lives according to the true eternal laws of nature." Through sincere Tai Chi-Qigong practice a re-newed foundation of health is uncovered for the practitioner. This leads to a better quality of life as one moves into their "senior" years. The sooner one starts the practice, the better. I'm expecting that you will join us for this new year.

We will not be having classes on Saturday, Jan 4 (tomorrow) or Monday, Jan 6, as the Decatur Recreation Center floors are being refinished and need time to dry. (The smell will be overwhelming!)

Below is a list of our classes/days/times/venues for this new year (2020):

Beginner's Tai Chi-Qigong Class
Saturday - 9am - 10:30am, Decatur Recreation Center/Animal Crackers Room - first class of the New Year: January 11th
Monday - 6:30pm-8:00pm, DRC/Animal Crackers Room - first class: January 13th
Wednesday - 12noon-1pm, Ebster Center, basement level lobby room - first class: January 8th

Intermediate Tai Chi Flow Class
Saturday - 11am-12noon, DRC/Dance Studio - first class January 11th

These, above, are the current classes offer through the the DRC/Ebster Center.

There is the possibility of at least two new classes starting early this year. The first is a beginner's Tai Chi/Qigong class on Thursdays, 10 am; and the other is a beginner's Sword Class on Saturday, 11am. These will both be at the DRC. Let me know of your interest in attending either of these two new options. Also, if you would like to re-start your learning in any of the classes, please let me know which one, (or two!). This will alert the teacher to expect you and hold your place in that class. Thank you!

Blessings to you and yours for a healthy, safe and joyful new year!
