WHO I AM:
My name is Mary McCashin and I’m third generation horse girl. I was born and raised in Mocksville, NC. After time in Tennessee and Texas I found my way back home and MMH came to fruition.
MY MENTORS:
I follow the Ray Hunt, Tom Dorrance, and Buck Brannaman style of horsemanship. I regularly take lessons and clinics with Brooke Tatrow, Kathleen Beckham, and others to continue to advance myself and my horsemanship.
MY METHOD:
If you want someone to put a SOLID foundation in your horse - I’m your girl.
If you want someone loping your 2yo around in a shank - I’m NOT your girl.
If you want your horse living out 24/7 with freedom, forage, and friends - I’m your girl.
If you want someone who doesn’t think your horse should leave the arena - I’m NOT your girl.
If you want QUALITY handling that’s done correctly the first time - I’m your girl.

"At some point you have to recognize the learning process as inherently messy. You will get it wrong. You will get confused and frustrated. That’s all part of it.
So, if you recognize yourself in this pattern, don’t let yourself get too far into your head before you put what you are learning into practice.
Do it imperfectly. Stay observant. Repair your mistakes. But keep going." Confident Rider with Jane Pike
