Duck River recap 10-24-26

New engine was put in the car with hopes of being faster than the week before but as luck would have that was not the case. 2 seconds off the pace in qualifying would line him up 6th in the feature.

It was determined that the flywheel moved on the crank retarding the ignition. Got that fixed and went to staging. Car didn't want to run but he did the best he could in the race and would ultimately end up getting lapped at some point and finishing 6th. One week you are the window other week you are the bug. We will try to figure out what went wrong with engine and try again.

Couple races left in the season and Madden will finish 4th in the points for track and 4th for series.

10-17-26 Duck River update.

Madden would qualify 2nd which is very surprising 🤔. Madden said the car seemed to be pretty fast so Dad took a huge swing on a setup change for the feature to get it faster.

Lined up outside front row for feature,come to green and the 1st and 3rd place cars would make contact in turn 2. Complete restart. Come back for 2nd start and Madden would get the jump on the pole car.

He would go on to led every lap except for coming to white flag where he would take the lead back in turn 1 and go on to take his first official win. Congrats to the 2.0 on 2nd And the 03 on 3rd

Camden Speedway 9-26-26
Qualified last once again almost 2 seconds off. Lol
Made some changes for the heat race and got within a tenth of leaders lap time. Finished 4th in heat race.
Made some more changes to free car up just wasn't enough. Ended up with a 3rd in feature.

Considering we were slower than molasses unloading both night and coming home with two 3rds at 2 different tracks it was a decent weekend.

We are off this coming weekend.

Duck River 9-25-26
Same Ole same results in qualifying. 5th
Super slow no rpm's being turned
Heat race finished 4th once again no rpm's being turned.
Made adjustments for feature that worked. Finished 3rd. Car was still a little tight which slowed him down a little bit. We will continue to through the sink at it to get faster.
