2021 Knoxville Classic is in the books! Huge thank you to all our friends who supported this meet. You all make me proud to be part of TN Gymnastics! Special Thanks to Sibby Lane and all our judges, Lea Brown and the OZONE crew and especially Taylor Kean, Jacob Rivas, Chelsey Huff and the CEGC Staff and Parents who made this weekend possible. On New Year’s Eve day with no warning at all, the City of Knoxville informed us they had decided to cancel all events within City limits. Since that time, we have scoured the entire State for a venue of suitable size that would allow us to relocate the meet. Unfortunately, with such short notice and spanning a holiday weekend we have been unable to secure such a venue. This leaves us with very few options other than canceling. While we are still committed to finding a smaller venue that will allow us to host the Invitational, there is no way we are going to be able to accommodate the over 2400 athletes currently registered. With this in mind, we have re-opened the USAG reservation system and ask that if you want to cancel your reservation please do so prior to noon on Friday, 8 January 2021. You will, of course, receive a 100% refund of all fees paid and we both thank you for your patience and support and look forward to seeing you next year. If you would prefer you can take a credit worth 110% and use it at either the 2022 or 2023 Ozone Invitational or Showdown in the Smokies Meets. Please Email your preference to [email protected] before noon on Friday Jan 8th.

If you are interested in attending the smaller Girls Invitational ( possibly even an in-gym event ) all you have to do is leave your reservation active. Friday afternoon we will tally the entries, develop a schedule, and communicate a new plan to you as soon as we possibly can.

The Boys meet has been moved to In gym at Gym Tek Gymnastics located at 5331 Western Ave, Knoxville, Tn 37921. The same options as above apply. You can leave your registration in place and attend the meet, cancel on USAG prior to Noon Friday Jan 8th and request a refund through email to [email protected] or request a 110% credit to be used at either the 2022 or 2023 Ozone Invitational.

I sincerely wish I had better news. We were all looking forward to hosting an amazing competition this year. Together we will push through this crisis and come out the other side stronger for it. We hope to see you all soon.
