Judge Ray Grimes was a man was he,
Not big in stature, but for all to see.

Big in the heart, he had a heart of gold,
To do the right thing, his rulings were bold.

First Judge in the courthouse every day,
In fact, he worked to hard, some would say.

On the bench or off, he had the heart of a lion, For someone to say otherwise, why, they’d be lying.

A battle with COVID, God took him too soon,
And now he looks down on us from above the moon.

Sharon took over and tries hard every day,
To incorporate his philosophies in her rulings along the way.

His spirit lives on with the Judges and most of us, To plan to see him in eternity, is a real must.

So let’s toast a man, who was very personal but rightly tough, and then hit the links and stay out of the rough.
