I am utilizing my real world experience, relevant skill, and love for humanity to invest in others being capable when facing violence to themselves or others. For 10 years I’ve been riding for the fam.
Ive learned so much and worked to grow myself and those that sought to learn jiu jitsu.
Thanks for the memories and lessons!

I will be resigning at RGC and taking up the head bjj coach position at Iron Knights, effective today. It is saddening to leave but I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.

I have nothing but love and respect for RGC, the staff, and especially James Hoskins! My time with the gym (10 years or so) has been so enlightening as far as building my skills, becoming a more refined coach, and just understanding all the work that it takes for a gym owner to keep a gym going. I’m proud of being a part of something that has not only stood strong through adversity, but has thrived.

I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful and strong students/ gym members through out the years as a coach! I will miss everyone, especially those that I see so often during the morning classes!

I leave you in good hands of course! James, Jerry, Val, Mich, Dave, Jon, Duvien, Kyle, Jada, and the others have a good handle on things!
This is more of a “see ya later” than a “goodbye”.
I will still be available for anyone who cares to stay in touch. I will most likely be seen at some open mats here and there for the rest of my life going forward.

I truly love people, especially those that are so tenacious about being capable and strong that they disturb their comfy lives with combat sports!❤️

After 10 or so years teaching with Renzo Gracie Clarksville Combat Sports & Wellness Center I’ll be moving to Iron Knights Grappling as the lead grappling/ bjj coach.
It’s sad to leave such a fine establish and the wonderful people of RGC but I’m excited about developing a great program at IK!

Folks, if you fancy yourself a pistol carrier, you need to establish a good foundation for using the pistol.
You don’t have to be all in to competitive shooting or go out and buy night vision, or even watch dark filtered reels of large men with Deftones music in the background to call yourself a
Just make sure you have some reliable equipment and invest a little time and dime in training for competency on a relatively consistent basis.
Besides the obvious benefits of training, you will also meet some great and interesting people!
Be bold.
Hope to see more citizens being well rounded at life with good emotional regulation!

Pistol 1-2 complete for the year. I’m open to private groups but as far as IZ open enrollment classes, I’m done until next year.
We still have S12 with Mickey Schuch Oct 1-4, FireArmed with Ryan Oct 24-25, potentially a hybrid pistol class in North Cali Sept 19-20 and a few private slots left for the Clarksville, TN / Ft Campbell area.

Gotta get ready for wrestling season!

This group was great. Some returning and some new ones.
We had a returning vet that has done classes with me since 2017 and says he appreciates the updates and the continued learning.
We had a father and son duo that I’ve never met before came and did excellent. It warmed my heart. We had a whole family come to support Daddy and his sister in their first class with me! They had 4 maiden magazine loaders working for them! Their family exemplifies capable citizens. We had a relatively old fella that is a life long martial artist that took away everyone’s excuses because he was killing it even tho having chronic issues and being up there in age.
3 out of the group are active duty military and my one buddy that had to take off before the group pic is an Olympic gold medalist in rowing! He let us touch the medal since he brought it with him for an event he was traveling to!
When I start thinking about dropping this fi***rm training thing, I get a wave of inspiration and fire in my soul from great people such as these.

I love all of them.
