Bowling Green Lightning is an athletic club specializing in cross country and track and field.
The club was created to allow participation in post-season competitions in which Kentucky high school teams are not allowed to compete under their high school name. Organized training sessions are held during dead periods and when athletes require specialized training. BGL will not interfere with athletes and their high school coaches.
