People say Nashville’s bid for an MLB expansion team would hurt Clarksville’s chance at an MiLB team.

We say the opposite. We think it would help. More and more MLB teams are showing that they value minor league affiliates that are close in proximity.

Look at the recent moves of Sugarland and St. Paul in 2021 reorganization.

People also say that Clarksville is too close to Nashville. Cities and towns similarly distanced as Nashville and Clarksville have been coexisting for decades. Look at Dayton and Cincinnati or Tacoma and Seattle. It can work and even thrive!
