Wildcats O’Meara 14U Walk It Off Against DPC 14u Black

Wildcats O’Meara 14U took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 4-3 walk-off victory over DPC 14u Black. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the fifth when Beau Loughridge scored after tagging up.

Wildcats O’Meara 14U opened the scoring in the second after Tonzie Collins singled, scoring one run.

DPC 14u Black captured the lead, 3-1, in the top of the fifth when Logan Jones singled, scoring two runs, and Eli Brown doubled, scoring one run.

Wildcats O’Meara 14U took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning after Loughridge singled, Myles Smeltz-Pepicello walked, and Loughridge scored after tagging up, each scoring one run.

Ben Ngo stepped on the bump first for Wildcats O’Meara 14U. The hurler surrendered four hits and three runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking five. Alex Rodriquez led things off on the hill for DPC 14u Black. The starter gave up three hits and one run over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Ethan Fiedler appeared in relief for Wildcats O’Meara 14U.

Loughridge led Wildcats O’Meara 14U with two hits in three at bats from the leadoff position.

Jones set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading DPC 14u Black with two hits in three at bats.
