So I’ve been reading this book by and it has some amazing information and insights. The biggest one that hit home to me was the correlation between physical activity and risk for Alzheimer’s disease.

These are photos I took from the pages of the book. No one is saying you have to be a marathon runner to reduce your risk. Any exercise is good! However, you will see that more exercise and/or higher intensity exercise can reduce your risk even more!

It’s now November and, as a mom, I know how hard it can be to stay on track with your fitness and health during the holidays!

I’m offering a 6 week program that will take the guesswork out of your fitness through the holiday season.

We will kick off the event with an in person workout and “meet the trainer” event on 11/20/23 .nc right here in Clayton! The rest of the program will be virtually provided to you:
*3 workouts per week that are all 30-mins or less and designed to burn those calories, and you can do them on your own time, at home or at a gym.
*online community of participants for motivation- you’re not going at it alone!
*access to me, with weekly check-ins for questions, support, modifications, etc.

The program will wrap up right at the end of 2023, meaning you will finish the year STRONG.

Do you want a way to make that boxed pancake mix a bit more filling and nutritious for yourself and your kids?

When making your pancake mix add the following:
-oats
-plain Greek yogurt (or a flavored one for flavored pancakes - I used pumpkin spice yogurt and it was so yummy!)
-chopped nuts (optional)
-fruit (optional)

Mix and cook as you normally would. You’ll notice the pancakes are a bit thicker, but they’re tastier and have more fiber and protein to fill stomachs longer!
