Whenever I am working with a client and our session is little more "uncomfortable" than usual I ask them if they have been hydrating. I already know the answer because the body is a snitch, and I give them my lecture on why they need to hydrate, so I am going to share it with you all.
Hydration is so important because water:
*Lubricates the joints
*Prevents kidney damage
*Helps with cognition and reasoning
*Helps with weight loss
*Decreases muscle cramping & spasms
*Reduces muscle soreness and fatigue
*Allows proper muscle function (i.e., muscle contraction)
*Allows effective muscle growth
*Helps with muscle repair
*Allows your muscles to work harder and longer
The amount of water a person should drink in a day will vary according to factors such as age, s*x, and activity levels.
11.5 cups per day for women
15.5. cups per day for men
5-11 cups for children, depending on their age
This equates to 2.7 liters for women, 3.6 liters for men, and a minimum of 1 liter for children.

Happy New Year! One of my personal goals this year is to get better with social media, and I want to start by sharing the importance of Practitionaer-Assisted Stretching (that would be me).
*Stretching is beneficial for both the body and the mind, and improves overall health. With a stretching sequence guided by a professional practitioner, you will realize there are parts of your body that you may have overlooked even though you are a serious runner, dedicated to the gym, or a busy person that may not have the time stretch.
Why You Need Practitioner-Assisted Stretching
1. Muscle pain
From poor posture to incorrect exercises to stress, there are several causes for muscle pains. The most common pains are found in the neck, back, and shoulders, especially if you spend most of your day at a desk job. A practitioner-assisted stretching routine includes moves that loosen and relaxes your muscles, relieves you from pain, and strengthens your muscle balance to prevent recurrences.
2. Joint injuries and range of motion
Range of motion is the degree of a joint’s movement when it is stretched, flexed, or rotated. The practice is especially healing for endurance athletes like swimmers, wrestlers, cyclists, and runners who are vulnerable to muscle imbalances and injuries.
