Before you sign up for ANY showcase offering 4 or 5 games or money, ask them, "What are your time limits?" They won't tell you on their flyer because they don't want you to ask so they can cheat you out of innings you pay for. A game is 7 innings, and/or at least 2 hours to play into the 7th. Anything less should NOT be acceptable.

Travel Teams asked for more Southern Star events!
College coaches asked for more Southern Star events!
120 minutes is the new standard for time limits in showcases. If your showcase games are shorter, your team is being cheated out of innings, and college coaches are losing valuable evaluation time for your players!
STOP ACCEPTING LESS THAN 120 minutes and/or 7 innings! You don't have to play in Southern Star Showcases, but then don't complain when colleges don't have time to watch your team play either.
Special Introductory offer - Play in both of these events for $2,000. Register through USA Elite Select/USSSA before August 15. 38 Team maximum for each of these events.

Championship Sunday has begun. #4 seed Lady Lightning Kirkland are playing the #1 seed South Florida Contenders on field 4. Winners moves on to the 1:30 pm Championship. After this is is #2 seed CSRA YARDDOGS vs #3 seed East Georgia Crossfire.
Got to love playing competitive games that mean something on Sunday that mean something even in a showcase.
