Thin Ice Spearing Decoys

Well here it is! The big reveal of my project I’ve been working on since January!

I have long dreamt about bringing this project to life and finally told myself to pull the trigger… 65 million years in the making, the worlds first T. rex decoy!

I’m currently painting it to display at the 2026 Gathering Decoy Show in Perham.

The Gathering - Perham Decoy Show This will be our 27th year of doing sporting collectibles, art, fish and duck decoys, in a buy-sell-trade format. We also host National Decoy Contests.
