Honda has unveiled a new program launching in Spring 2026 that will provide brand-new parts for discontinued classic models, starting with the first-generation NSX. The initiative, called the “Genuine Compatible Parts” program, will use a mix of original suppliers, remanufactured items, and 3D printing to recreate out-of-production components. Honda is also setting up a restoration service in Japan, building on its legacy NSX Refresh Plan.
While the NSX leads the rollout, Honda hinted that other models like the S2000, Type R variants, and Honda Beat could be next, with more details coming in Fall 2025. Restoration services will begin in Japan, but the parts will be available globally, giving enthusiasts worldwide access to official, factory-quality support for their vintage Hondas.
This puts Honda alongside Toyota and Nissan in supporting the aftermarket scene for classic performance cars—reigniting passion and extending the lifespan of some of Japan’s most iconic machines.
