Athletes!!
Remember movement on days off.
Just because we are sore does not mean we ought to stay on the couch all day!
If you have an off day, including movement will help your next day of training by allowing you to be less sluggish and sore since you had a little bit of physical movement.

Hey Everyone! I’m Mark. I grew up in the water. 🏊♂️ From national-level meets to collegiate swimming, the pool was a second home.
But as an athlete (and later a coach), I noticed something: training was often one-size-fits-all. Too much for some, not enough for others. Technical work, recovery, speed… often overlooked. And honestly? That never sat right with me.
As a young coach, I felt guilty for falling into the “normal” style—big groups, limited time, and generalized workouts. I knew my swimmers deserved more.
Everything shifted when I started working one-on-one. That’s where the real transformation happens—inside and outside the pool. 💡
✨ Lim, age 50, went from learning how to kick and breathe to swimming full laps in just 2 months.
✨ Nick, a competitive swimmer, reached his goal times and qualified for a statewide meet after focused technical training.
Those moments reminded me why I coach: not just to build faster swimmers, but to help people grow in confidence, discipline, and joy. Swimming is the tool. Transformation is the goal.
