The LaRose name has been involved in racing since the 1950s. Winning was our goal! Zach with 125 and 175 hydro and my brother Marc in 250cc hydro.
My father Chick and his brother Whane started it all way back then, they both raced mainly in Quebec Canada. Both of them have won many championships together and put the LaRose name on the map as one of the one's to beat. I started racing when i was 9 years old in J stock then moved up to 125cc hydro then on to the bigger classes. Numerous national championships and world records were broken whic
h still stand today. My highlight in my career was winning the world championships in 1993 beating out the worlds best. In 1995 we stepped away from the Pro division and ran Formula on Tunnel boats for 6 years placing on the podium 3 times. In 2001 we got involved with Full 360 winged sprint cars and raced with the USCS sprint car series for 5 years winning numerous heat wins and two main events. After a couple years not racing we have came back to our first love of racing with the USTS pro division. The first two years were a bit rough coming back thinking we could win with older technology. Now that we have the state of the art Trombetta hull and Rossi power plant, we are a force to recon with. Also not only am i racing again my so Zachary LaRose and my brother Marc LaRose has started their Hydroplane racing career's this being their first year racing. And as always my dad Neil (chick) LaRose doing the tuning.
