Congratulations to all our marksmen for their performance. The team set a new 3x20 record for both the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools system and of course WFHS JROTC Titan Rifle. We’ve got a few hours to wait till Finals before I post results.

Here's the AAR for 2023 US JROTC Join Services:

Debi Weiser - 1078 - 31x - 40 Overall
Mekayla Baker - 1077 - 35x - 42nd Overall
Logan Feathers - 1071 - 27x - 54th Overall
Austin McSwain - 1024 - 17x - 119th Overall

On Day 2, the team set a new Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools district and team record for an individual 3 x 20 match.

We had two shooters get food poisoning; they did not let them hold that back and went on to shoot in the match anyway. We also had 5 personal records set. A new standing District Record was set as well. While we aren't bringing home hardware, we are bringing away the experience and a lifetime of learning what it means to push just a bit deeper in yourself.

This is the first WFHS JROTC Titan Rifle to make the US JROTC Joint Services National Championships in just 3.5 years of being a team. As their assistant coach, I could not be more proud!
