We had a great turnout this morning for our first stroke clinic of the season! Swimmers worked on their starts and finishes today in preparation for our meet this coming Tuesday.

Please remember to sign IN for the meet on Tuesday, 6/9 if your swimmer will be competing. Our coaches will work on meet entries tomorrow evening!

Happy Sunday, Stingrays! Practice begins tomorrow so check out the weekly email in your inbox to get all of the info for this upcoming week!

We had over 20 new potential Stingrays come out to Pup Camp on Friday evening and have decided to host Pup Camp 2.0 tomorrow, Monday May 18th from 5pm to 6pm. There will be a limit of 4 swimmers for each 20-minute time slot. If you would like to have your swimmer evaluated tomorrow, please sign up for Pup Camp so we know you're coming (link in comments)! We recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes before your allotted time in order for your swimmer to be ready to go!

Summer 2026 will be here before we know it and the Waterford Stingrays are already coming together to make this year’s swim season a great one! We’re proud to announce our coaching staff who will be led by our Coaching Consultant, Nathan Durrell. Our Senior Coaches are Khloe Katula and Ian Ross. Our Assistant Coaches are Russ Beekman, Nolan Hennis, Nathan Strickland, and Gigi Williamson.

Nathan Durrell is not only a Waterford Stingray parent, he is also lifelong swimmer and coach with a deep passion for every level of the sport. Nathan grew up as a summer swimmer in Lexington and his professional career includes over two decades of leadership in USA Swimming. He spent several years with STAR Aquatics, working with many national and international-level athletes while developing their Age Group program, before joining TYDE in 2013. There, he served as Head Age Group Coach and eventually the team’s Head Coach and Executive Director of Aquatics.

This summer, Nathan is most excited to mentor our young coaching staff, and to help every Stingray, from beginners of all ages to our experienced senior swimmers, to learn, grow, and have a lot of fun!
