☘️Did you know Grace O’Malley (or Gráinne Ní Mháille) was a real historical figure?

She was a legendary Irish sea captain, trader, and pirate leader from County Mayo. She commanded ships along Ireland’s west coast, defied English authority, and famously met Queen Elizabeth I to negotiate her family’s freedom, earning a lasting reputation as Ireland’s “Pirate Queen.”
