⛳ Greens Conversion Update – Hole #2⛳️

Our first par 3 is getting a whole new look!

As work began on #2 Green, we were able to locate the original green liner and use it as a guide to reclaim much of the putting surface that had been lost over the years. The result is an increase of more than 1,600 square feet, bringing the green to a new size of 5,250.9 square feet.

We also made a slight adjustment to the middle-right portion of the green, softening some of the slope while preserving the character and challenge of the back-right hole location.

The expanded green will provide more variety in pin placements and create a fun test for golfers of all skill levels from any set of tees.

We’re excited to see this hole come back to life and can’t wait for everyone to experience the finished product!

⛳️Course Renovation Update – Hole #14 ⛳️

While #14 may have the smallest green expansion of our renovation project, every square foot matters when it comes to creating a better playing experience.

The green has been expanded by approximately 670 square feet, giving us additional usable putting surface and more flexibility for pin placements. We have also softened the slope on the left third of the green, creating a more receptive and playable pin location that golfers of all skill levels can enjoy.

In addition, several trees surrounding the green have been removed to increase sunlight exposure, helping ensure the long-term success and health of our new Mach 1 greens.

Every change we make is focused on improving playability, turf health, and the overall golf experience. Step by step, we’re building a better Salem Glen and creating a golf course our members and guests can be proud of for years to come.

We’re excited to see the transformation of #10 continue to take shape!

The green has been expanded by more than 1,300 square feet, creating additional pin locations and improving overall playability. We’ve also removed two pine trees on the left side of the green to increase sunlight and reduce root competition, helping create healthier turf conditions around the green, approach, and rough.

These improvements will enhance both course conditions and the overall playing experience for years to come.

⛳️Greens Conversion Project Update⛳️

We’re excited to share today’s progress on our greens conversion project, with significant work completed on Hole #1.

• The existing green has been stripped and backfilled with an 85/15 greens mix
• The putting surface has been expanded by approximately 2,100 square feet
• Final shaping and preparation work are underway as we continue moving toward the next phase of the project

The course may be closed but our Men’s Golf Association is still bringing the fun to Salem Glen! We are progressing nicely on our greens conversion and are looking forward to August! 🏌️‍♂️
