CLERMONT, WE DID IT! 💚
Tonight’s Clermont Connect: Meet the Candidates was a SUCCESS!
What started as an idea to create space for meaningful, respectful conversation turned into an evening of connection, questions, transparency, and community engagement. And seeing approximately 50 Clermont residents in the room made it even more meaningful.
A heartfelt THANK YOU to our Clermont City Council members who welcomed residents and helped set the tone for the evening.
Thank you to the candidates who showed up, shared their perspectives, answered tough questions, and gave Clermont residents the opportunity to hear directly from those seeking to serve.
A very special thank you to my co-moderator, Laury Georges-Lane, for helping me facilitate this important conversation. I could not have asked for a better partner in creating a space that was thoughtful, balanced, and community-centered.

To the nearly 50 residents who came out tonight, thank you for asking questions, listening, engaging, and caring enough to participate in the conversation about the future of our city.
This is what community looks like.
As a leadership coach, I believe deeply that leadership requires accountability, and accountability requires people who are willing to engage. Tonight reminded me that Clermont has people who are willing to do exactly that.
This wasn't about telling anyone how to vote.
It was about creating a space to listen, learn, ask questions, and be informed.
And I am incredibly proud of what we created together.
Thank you to everyone who trusted us with your time, your questions, and your presence.
Clermont, your voice matters. Your participation matters. And your community matters.
Tonight was just the beginning.
