It’s time to meet the energy behind FCCS Cheer — Coach Harley Storm! 💙💛🦁

Coach Harley is all about building confidence, character, courage, and faith. She coaches to help athletes push past what they thought they could do, discover what they’re capable of, and grow into stronger young people on AND off the sidelines.

And her message to every athlete?
“Your worth isn’t measured by whether you win — it’s measured by who you become along the way.”

THAT is what Behind the Roar is all about.

Coach Harley brings heart, passion, encouragement, and purpose to FCCS Cheer — and we’re excited for you to get to know the coach behind the bows, pom-poms, hard work, and ROAR! 📣✨

We had such a special night with our Lady Lions! 💙💛

Before the serve, our FCCS Worship Team helped set the tone for the evening by leading us in the National Anthem. There’s something special about seeing different parts of our FCCS family come together to support our student-athletes.

And we couldn’t let the night end without one more surprise… 🎉🎈

We celebrated our very own Captain Dana Gayle with a special birthday surprise surrounded by her teammates, coaches, friends, and FCCS family! 🥳

These are the moments we want our student-athletes to remember — not just the scores and the games, but the community, relationships, celebrations, and people who showed up along the way.

Our first FCCS Boys Basketball Interest Meeting went better than we expected—and if the energy in this room is any indication, this season is going to be something to watch.

The turnout. The attention. The excitement. These young men showed up ready to hear what FCCS Basketball is building, and now we’re ready to see who’s willing to put in the work.

The Lady Lions are about to look DIFFERENT this season. 🔥📣🦁

Today our cheerleaders had their custom uniform fittings, and the energy was exactly what you’d expect — confident, excited, and FIERCE.

This squad is getting ready to bring the spirit, the presence, and the ROAR everywhere they go. The uniforms are custom, but so is the standard we’re building.

Last week, our Lady Lions stepped onto the court for their first volleyball game of the season — and we could not be more proud!

With only a couple of weeks of practice under their belts, these athletes competed against an FHSAA program and battled all the way through, finishing just a few points short.

The scoreboard may not have given us the win, but what we saw was hard work, determination, growth, and heart. These girls showed exactly what they’ve been working on in practice, and this is only the beginning.

We are incredibly proud of the way they represented FCCS Athletics, and we cannot wait to see how much they continue to grow throughout the season.

Keep working. Keep believing. Keep competing.

🎉 Congratulations to our Lady Lions Cheer Team!

We are so proud of each of these young ladies for earning their spot on the team!

This year, our cheerleaders will help set the standard for leadership across FCCS Athletics by representing our four pillars:

Faith — putting God first and encouraging others.
Character — leading with integrity, respect, and sportsmanship.
Achievement — striving for excellence on the sidelines, in the classroom, and beyond.
Purpose — understanding that their influence is bigger than a uniform or a game.

Our Lady Lions will bring the energy, but more importantly, they will represent what it means to be an FCCS Lion.
