A heartfelt thank you to Stephen & Alyssa Vogt for hosting a wonderful private fundraiser last Sunday evening in support of Boys & Girls Clubs of NE Ohio and Cleveland Guardians Charities.
Their generosity, and the generosity of everyone who attended, will help create more opportunities for young people across our community to learn, grow, play, and thrive. We’re grateful for the Vogt’s for believing so deeply in investing in the next generation.

Last week, we had the honor of hosting our August Guardians of the Community: Ebonie Randle and Nick Nowak of Shalom and Tranquility Community Garden.
 
Since founding the garden in 2020, Ebonie and Nick have transformed vacant lots in Cleveland’s Brooklyn Centre neighborhood into welcoming spaces where neighbors can access fresh food, connect with one another, and grow together.
 
From community meals and service days to youth literacy programs, yoga, beekeeping, art, movie nights and more, Shalom and Tranquility is cultivating so much more than fruits and vegetables.
