Congratulations to T.K. Davis and Josh McCutchen. Both Bulldogs earned U23 All-American Status this weekend.

T.K., after losing his first match rallied off 7 wins straight and finished 8-2 on the weekend. He placed 7th out of 123 wrestlers at 65KG.

Josh finished the weekend 4-3 for an 8th place finish at 97kg. His losses came to guys who finished 1st, 5th and 7th.

After dropping his first match at U23’s, up a weight class, 12-11, TK Davis has won 7 straight matches to become an All-American for the Bulldogs!

Good night at our Webby’s tonight. T.K. Davis earns the biggest upset award as well as Male Athlete of the Year. Andrew Wilson, Jeff Jacome, and Matt Rowland were all recognized for earning 4.0 GPAs. Great job guys.

A couple more Bulldogs recognized today by Gardner-Webb. Andrew Wilson received the Stefka Eddins undergraduate research award. Matt Rowland was honored with the Spiritedness and Service Award. These guys have been great examples of being impactful on campus.
