The Dance Studio (TDS) was founded by Fredrick Moodie, in 1984.

In January 2012, TDS came under new management and is now owned and operated by Directors, Rhunette Lee and Monica McAlpine. Located in Cleveland Heights, TDS is the largest African American owned dance studio in the Greater Cleveland area, offering dance instruction at its main office as well as area daycares and recreational facilities.
