Great moments, even better company…

Last week this time I didn’t even feel like getting dressed after sickness took me out for the week. But I had a date with my accountability buddies to celebrate 2025 wins and radically imagine 2026. (It takes the most for us to coordinate our full schedules! 😩😩)

So much laughter, encouragement, validation, support, and love…and some singing. Lol.

Do yourself a favor and get out the house, especially when you don’t feel like it. It’s probably what you need the most!

Holiday tings* 🍂🤶🏾

I hope you all are enjoying your holiday. Mom and I stepped out in this Cleveland snow storm to see Wicked. She loved her surprise shirt!

I also got to do some shopping for holiday decor for two spaces I’m decorating.🎄

I’m so glad the day ended well because it started rough with me crying because I missed my boys and what the holidays used to look like.

I’m learning to navigate the “messy middle” of growing into something new while letting go of what was. Sending love to anybody who is in this place with me. ❤️

My work…

I’m multifaceted and wear different hats. Although I don’t always get the language “right” for the world to understand, I am clear.

I go where God calls me to go and use the gifts God has given me. Sometimes that’s working in our Black communities, other times it’s coaching and ministering, then I’ll go design a space that brings peace + joy.

Last night was Saint Luke’s Foundation under my consulting arm, The Engagement Group (operated for over 5 years). We designed this process for community to decide the architecture firm that will lead the design of Saint Luke’s new headquarters.

So much joy in the room!! One of my proudest career moments ✨

Here’s to being who you are + building what you want even when the world doesn’t understand.

Nothing is wasted in God’s economy!! 🙌🏾

A muse awakens inspiration, clarity, and vision.

I’m learning to become my own muse—
to look within for what I searched for outside for far too long.

This is the inside-out work.
The shift that creates real breakthrough.
The moment you realize the answer isn’t found in doing more…
it’s found in discovering your truth.

Hey God, show me how good life can be.

If we’re honest, a lot of us are saying things like:
▪️“I’m tired of being the strong one.”
▪️“I’m trying so hard, but nothing’s working.”
▪️“I don’t even recognize myself anymore.”
▪️“I keep showing up, but I feel overlooked.”
▪️“I’m doing everything I’m ‘supposed to’ —and I’m still not okay.”

It’s not weakness. It’s weariness.

It’s what happens when you’ve been carrying too much for too long.

But something has to shift.
And it starts with what we say.

Now we’re declaring:
💫“I will feel good again!”
💫“I can rest without losing what I’ve built!”
💫“I’m allowing life to get easier for me!”
💫“I’m open to receiving more than I’ve had to fight for!”
💫“I’m believing that good things will happen for me!”

So God, show me how good life can be.
