The student athletes are incredibly excited and thankful for this generous gift!!
$1.9 million gift establishes the Rudy Athletic Endowment at Case Western Reserve University A $1.9 million gift from Kim Rudy McMahon, whose late father, a Case Western Reserve University alum who invented the revolutionary Nike Air Sole, will establish the M. Frank Rudy and Margaret Dormiter Rudy Athletic Endowment for the ongoing purchase of Nike athletic uniforms and shoes.

This past weekend marked the end of the 2018 spring sports season for the Spartans. Some highlights from the past week:
-The softball team advanced to the NCAA Championships for the first time in Program history, they beat Rowan University before being eliminated by Luther College. Senior Katie Wede was awarded the elite 90 award for the highest GPA at the championship.
-Nithya Kanagasegar and Madeleine Paolucci became the first All-Americans in the history of the women’s tennis program with a win in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Division III Doubles Tournament.
-Danielle Kulpins of the track team finished 10th in the country in the steeplechase at the NCAA championships.
-Rocco Maue of the baseball team was selected as the second baseman on the D3baseball.com All-America First Team, becoming just the fifth player in the program's history to be named an All-American.
