Bill Miller was inducted into the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame in 1976 for softball.
One of the top 14-inch softball pitchers in Cleveland history, Miller was known for his overpowering strikeout ability, regularly fanning 21 or more batters in nine-inning games and once recording 27 strikeouts in a single contest. Over 12 years on the mound, he rarely lost.
Miller led Comella Sports to four championships before stepping away from the game when local leagues switched to the 12-inch softball.
