These horses and riders deserve some recognition for a slightly unorthodox yet wonderfully fun and eventful horse show season!!! Highlights included:

⭐️ Touch the Sky returned to the hunter ring, taking his new pilot Kathryn to her first horse shows and bringing home a Reserve Championship in Walk Trot Canter Crossrails!
⭐️ New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program alum Sweet Creature and his rider Ella were Series Champions in Limit Rider!
⭐️ Isabella and Melody both returned to the show ring and earned a Pre-Limit Championship!
⭐️ Bonfire ventured off property for the first time in years and handled it like the old pro that he is, winning commendable ribbons with Celeste, Catherine, and Melody in the saddle!

All of this and more happened while their trainer juggled new motherhood and returning to work. Thank you so much to my village, and especially to our beautiful local venues Stoney Ridge Stables and Hinckley Equestrian Center, for making this possible.

Our youngest budding equestrian wasn’t as interested in the horses as they were in her… 🤨

I miss each and every one of you, but I so appreciate you allowing me this precious time with my daughter. ❤️

He was welcomed by a very organized greeting committee. I am so eager to help his rider learn the ropes of horse ownership with a pony that I already know and love. Thank you to the village who made this possible, especially his new home with the Pellands! 🐴❤️🏠

Columbia Equestrian Center in Columbia Station is among the things I’m thankful for this year. The facility offers ample turnout, small trails, and a bright, spacious indoor arena all in one convenient location. I have been teaching boarders there for some time, but there are now horses available for lessons and leases as well as open stalls! Contact dedicated barn manager Amy Lanza for boarding information.

🐎 When I joined the Equine Differences team in March, I had no idea that this new spot on my map would turn into something so big and influential! From day camps to Girl Scouts, birthday parties to horse shows, and western to jumping lessons, there is truly something for everyone. The Oberlin facility boasts multiple instructors and a herd of over 20 phenomenal school horses. 🐎

With the holiday season upon us, I would like to thank and highlight each of the fabulous facilities that I have the pleasure of working with! My hope is that as lesson demand grows, this will illustrate the riding opportunities available based on your needs and location. I also travel to private farms and homes, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have horses elsewhere.

My newest partnership stems from an old friendship with the owner of Foundations Equestrian, LLC in Olmsted Falls. Jessica specializes in dressage and, as her business name implies, she prioritizes a solid foundation for young and new riders! School horses are available for both lessons and lease. Hard to believe that this sunny photo was taken just yesterday… ☀️ ❄️

Proud is an understatement. When I say that the ribbons don’t matter, that is not to discount scores and success. But all we can really control is how we ride the horse we have on a given day. All three of our riders went double clear at Hinckley Equestrian Center’s inaugural mini trial, ended a beautiful day with smiles and new friendships, and left me endlessly pleased and grateful. Congratulations ladies, and welcome to eventing, new horses and humans! The best sport in the world. 🤗💕🦄

Congratulations to our riders who competed at Bath Pony Club’s mini trial yesterday! Both brought home ribbons even despite a rain delay, and I could not be more proud of these honest horses and hardworking ladies. Thank you to BPC for hosting another lovely event so wonderfully close to home. We are eager to take on Hinckley Equestrian Center’s inaugural event next month! 🥳💕🐴

In one week we welcomed not only the start of summer, but the start of all things horsey! Our hunter riders took on Stoney Ridge Stables’ first show of the year, horse camp began at Equine Differences, we brought a client’s new horse home, and finally Stone Gate Farm helped us kick off eventing season with the first mini trial of the year! PHEW!
