Great Day for the Vanguard 2-0!!!
Inclement Weather Notes:
1) We'll play through rain but not lightning/thunder

3) Cancelled games from weather result in a tie for scoring purposes.
The Cleveland Vanguard opened up their 2023 season with a 12-10 victory over Rocky River and a 10-0 loss to Westpark. Starting the year off 1-1… I’ll take it.

When asked which coach they wanted to practice tackling, the response was an emphatic ".rutledge86 he got small legs and he's soft."
Form and intensity got better as they went. Some of those hits actually tickled a little.

The boys put in some final work on the contact area yesterday. Tenacity and form are going to take these kids far on Sunday.

Vanguard kicks off at 1:30pm Sunday at against Rocky River.

The boys had moved results this weekend. The day started with a match plagued by mental errors that resulted in a 32-10 loss to Rocky River. After a little extra motivation, the boys stormed back with a 34-0 win over Highland.
Following the final match for the day the team celebrated at . A few meals make every victory a little sweeter.

Sun's out, guns out. The boys practiced applying, and working under, pressure yesterday in preparation for the final weekend of competition on Sunday.
The boys take the field at 3:00pm and 4:15pm. Come to Ignatius and cheer on the boys as the match towards reclaiming their City Championship.
