So many lessons in life in this video. Her having the courage to simply make it to the group session is commendable. My guy Phil is a beast when it comes to understanding the human psyche! She is maximizing her dollar by getting way more than just a “session in”. Obviously my girl here is overcoming personal barriers that will add to her energy and overall performance in every facet of life. With that in mind someone tell NYS this is the best antidepressant on the market and working out is not just about running on a treadmill. It’s much more. Carpe Diem! The days will be long but the years will be short. If serious about your craft you cannot let a day go. Sounds cliche but understand life is about consistency and sustainability. The daily “grind” is simply a test in place to see whose serious and who just wants it in theory.

So who is the REAL competition? Is it OTHERS out there working daily for your place at the table or is it YOU.. your everyday laziness, your daily excuses, your so-called circumstances not being ideal, etc.. that’s holding you back?

Ok so maybe the “Top 3” ranking is up for debate however the idea that kids don’t benefit from being multi-sport athletes is not.

Different sports condition different attributes that are all important to becoming the best athlete you, your son or daughter can be.

In order to compete at your highest level and give yourself the best chance at next level play, agility, depth perception, fine motor skills, endurance, power and strength are just a few of the skills that must be firing on all cylinders.

Growth occurring outside of the comfort zone is something we at Fast Feet practice and pass along to all those we encounter. While we often speak in terms of athletics, the same ideal is true in any context. Personally or professionally. Athletically or academically, the discomfort felt is your mind / body adjusting, processing and learning. Getting better (growing) doesn’t always feel good but it’s always worth it!
