Halfmoon HEMA has adopted the following mission statement:

"Halfmoon HEMA Incorporated is dedicated to the research, interpretation, and tangible practice of historic European martial arts. In this pursuit, we endeavour to instruct fencers and enthusiasts of all backgrounds and expressivities in the safest and most respectful way possible."
