Adirondack Knights 12u beat Saugerties Dutchmen 5-2 on Sunday.

Saugerties Dutchmen were the first to get on the board in the third when Levi H homered to center field, scoring two runs.

Adirondack Knights 12u captured the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the third when Lucas T induced Russell W to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored, and an error scored one run.

Brayden F led things off on the mound for Adirondack Knights 12u. The starter gave up four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out two and walking two. Levi V stepped on the hill first for Saugerties Dutchmen. The hurler allowed one hit and two runs over two innings, striking out three and walking three. Russell threw two innings of zero-run ball for Adirondack Knights 12u in relief. The righty gave up zero hits, striking out none and walking one.

Russell drove the middle of the lineup, leading Adirondack Knights 12u with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. Calvin T, Owen C, Gannon P, Nolan B, Jackson Y, and Russell each collected one hit for Adirondack Knights 12u. Russell stole three bases. Adirondack Knights 12u stole six bases in the game. Adirondack Knights 12u didn't commit a single error in the field. Calvin had the most chances in the field with four.

Levi provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Saugerties Dutchmen with two runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Kane P stole two bases.

Congrats to the 12u Knights on their victory last night versus Clifton Park Plainsman (White).
The big highlight of the night was Nolan Baker’s 2 run HR! Congrats Nolan and congrats Knights! Keep it rollin!

Adirondack Knights 12u got out to a 4-run lead in the fourth inning and held on for a 6-5 victory over Clifton Park White 12U on Friday. Clifton Park White 12U closed the gap by scoring on a fly out, a single, and a walk.

Adirondack Knights 12u were the first to get on the board in the first when Calvin T drew a walk, scoring one run.

Clifton Park White 12U took the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the second thanks to singles by Josh S, and Robbie S.

Adirondack Knights 12u flipped the game on its head in the top of the fourth, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 6-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to right field by Nolan B on an 0-2 count that drove in two.

Russell W earned the win for Adirondack Knights 12u. The right-handed pitcher gave up four hits and three runs (two earned) over four innings, striking out eight and walking two. Zach C took the loss for Clifton Park White 12U. The right-handed pitcher went one and two-thirds innings, surrendering four runs on three hits, striking out two and walking two. Gannon P started on the mound for Adirondack Knights 12u. The starting pitcher allowed two hits and two runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking two. Joey R began the game for Clifton Park White 12U. The right-handed pitcher surrendered zero hits and one run over one and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking four.

Grayson W and Russell were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Adirondack Knights 12u while hitting back-to-back. Nolan led Adirondack Knights 12u with two runs batted in. The catcher went 1-for-3 on the day. Lucas S led Adirondack Knights 12u with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, piling up six walks for the game. Lucas, Jackson Y, and Russell each stole multiple bases for Adirondack Knights 12u. Adirondack Knights 12u stole 10 bases in the game.

Robbie led Clifton Park White 12U with two runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-2 on the day. Josh and Robbie were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Clifton Park White 12U. Hanley H, Zach, Josh, Chase R, and Joey each stole multiple bases for Clifton Park White 12U. Clifton Park White 12U ran wild on the base paths, amassing 13 stolen bases for the game. Clifton Park White 12U were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Ben J had the most chances in the field with nine.

Adirondack Knights 12u will travel to North Colonie Bison for their next game on Sunday.
