Join us for our blood drive this Thursday!

You don’t have to sign up, but sign ups are prioritized over walk in’s. Please come support our community!

Please join us for a community blood drive on Thursday, September 17th from 8:30-2:30, hosted by the FHS music department!

Donors need to be ages 16 and up. If you’re 16 you need a permission form, but 17 and 18 year olds can donate as they wish.

All HS students and band members that donate blood, or bring an adult to donate for them if they’re not yet 16 or older, gets an excused day off that day following the donation.

Immediately after donation, all donors will receive a recognition item and a free appetizer to Texas Roadhouse

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Dolly Parton today. Everyone knows of her musical talents and philanthropy. However, less people know that she was a percussionist and majorette in her Sevier County High School Band in Sevierville, Tennessee. Fewer know that she quietly funded numerous band programs over the years purchasing uniforms and instruments for not only her alma mater, but underfunded programs in lower socioeconomic schools. This was done anonymously for many years until it was discovered and reported on in 2022. While certainly an amazing musician, she is beloved because she was an even better person.

All are welcome! You still have a couple more weeks to register so sign up now!
