I heard a rumor the other day that’s going around town about Kapper’s 🤔. I heard some people are saying that we’re closing October 31! Well… that’s news to me 😳. The master mind (who I mentioned yesterday) is trying to get me to not close at all 😳😳. But this girl is no spring chicken and needs a short break 🥱. So while we haven’t agreed upon a closing date yet, we aren’t closing anytime soon. We’re open all weekend (Friday and Saturday 11a - 7p and Sunday 11a - 3p) so come get some delicious food 🤤.

(Picture shared with me by Kevin Radley. Thanks Kevin! It’s so pretty.)

If you’ve been in lately, you’ve seen that I have a friend helping me out now. He’s the master mind behind the fish. He took over the duty of making the onion rings (bless him). He has a LOT of experience in commercial kitchens and is pushing me even farther outside of my comfort zone to bring you guys even more great food. This week he pushed for a new treat . . . fried cheesecake bites. Once he made me one, I was sold! Get ‘em now. 2 bites (they come on one skewer) for $4.99.

Wow! You guys really like fish. Thanks to everyone that came out yesterday to try it out. We appreciate the feedback. If you didn’t have a chance to come out yesterday, we still have fish today. Come check it out. It’ll be here all week. $13.99 for 2 pieces, a side and a drink.

Back in action! We’ve got FISH so we’re cooking up a fish fry all week! Come and get it.

10/24 UPDATE: Thought we had it fixed but not yet. I’m hoping I can still open today. Will keep you posted.

10/23/2026

Despite the efforts of many people, unfortunately I will not be open today (10/23). Hopefully everything gets fixed by opening tomorrow, but if not, I have secured a Blackstone, which will be set up outside to cook a limited menu for everyone tomorrow. I appreciate your patience and support!

10/23 UPDATE: A tech has been out to look at the hood fan. He’s headed to pick up the replacement motor now. We should be open early afternoon today. Keep an eye out for updates. Hope to see you all soon!

So sorry to announce that I’m closed early today (10/22/26). Discovered the hood fan went out so I can’t cook anything. Hoping to have this rectified to open for lunch tomorrow. Follow to get updates before you head out. Hope you’re enjoying this beautiful weather.

Hey guys . . . don’t forget I’m open until 7p. I know it gets dark early now and the park can be a little creepy at night 😳(especially if you’re into scary movies like I am) but we’ve added some solar lights to help see the sidewalk better and the bush by the parking lot was cut down so the light is brighter. Be brave and come have a good meal.
