Boone Boys

First time ever fishing from a kayak. My thoughts:

-I can’t believe how easy it was to paddle. It flew through the water with little strokes. Even going into the wind. super stress free but got some exercise without feeling exhausted.

-It drifted slower than I thought. My daughter was on paddle board, it drifted 5 times faster.

-More stable than I thought. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring a camera with me next time.

-So easy to load and carry around. So much easier than Jon boat or bass buggy.

-Probably best way to fish on the fly. Easy to load and unload. No battery or trolling motor.

This will test even the best of shooters.

It's almost flower-picking season 😅. I've grown a strong dislike for these most beautiful, resilient, prickly creations.

Another awesome Canton Lake Walleye Rodeo and kids fishing derby.

On the board for big crappie. Long ways to go. The hybrids, white bass, and striper have been tough.

Teamwork! Windy tough day for us this morning but hooking up on the bank.
