Main Street Industries and Training Center, Inc. What we do:
The production of handcrafted furniture provides steady income for our workers, along with the community sites we serve.

Furniture items are sold at an annual auction and custom orders are also taken throughout the year. MSI crews work at 25 different job sites, businesses, and private homes throughout the communities of Clinton, Graceville and Ortonville. They very capably clean homes and businesses, assemble, package, file, shred, scan, compile newsletters, deliver newspapers, garden, rake – you name it, our team can do it.

Main Street Industries is seeking a Part Time Employment/Placement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage new referrals, provide placement services, one-on-one training, follow-up support, develop person-centered employment plans, and build relationships with local businesses to secure competitive, integrated community-based jobs for the individuals we serve.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Associate degree with 2+ years of experience in the field, or a Bachelor's degree (preferred). Designated Coordinator qualifications are a plus.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, great organizational skills, and basic computer proficiency.
• Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation for work travel, and ability to pass a Department of Human Services background check

This week, we celebrate and recognize the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) at Main Street Industries!

Our DSPs do so much more than just a job. They show up every day with patience, compassion, kindness, dedication, and a whole lot of heart. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for every single one of our MSI staff and everything they do each and every day. The work you do matters, and the difference you make in the lives of the people we serve is HUGE!
