Very nice and rare original 1975 Chaparral (Raymond Beadle / Blue Max) open race car trailer.

16 foot with removable steel side loading ramps. Nice Ramsey winch with remote and onboard battery. Brand new Goodyear tires, even the spare is new. Recent brakes and recent wheel bearings. All lights work. It is still wearing its original paint. Tows super. Cool and hard to find little trailer, always gets attention.

Clear Tennessee title.

The TIGER II Chevelle Funny Car Story 11/21/2025

I’m not much on making videos but I have had a lot of requests to do so and to kind of tell the story of the TIGER II & BLITZER in detail.

The TIGER II Chevelle Funny Car Story Dave Giles talking about finding and restoring the historic TIGER II Chevelle that was driven by Jim Adcock 1965 - 1967.

Rare original FX / Funny Car FOR SALE. One of the the worlds very first funny cars. Just completed a 5 plus year no expense spared restoration.

This car belongs in a museum BUT it is built to run!
The TIGER II Chevelle. As close to a "factory" race car from GM as you could get in 65. Given to Jim and Andy Adcock of Amarillo Texas by Chevrolet as a new 1965 Chevelle 300 straight from them with no eng/trans, no VIN, title or MSO in early 1965. Its main sponsors were ESSO Oil Company which is the reason for the “Tiger” name and also Plains Chevrolet in Amarillo. Since it was built so early in 65, they put a 64 fiberglass front end on it from Fibercraft Fiberglass in California. This is the same fiberglass guy that built the famous Big Al, Allison powered Ford sedan. This is one of the rarest original AFX cars in existence, GREAT lengths went into restoring original pieces and not replacing them. The T-BAR chassis is said to be the very first professionally built all tube chassis center steer full bodied funny car ever built having been built in late 65 for the 66 season, this is all documented. Most of what you see here is the original car down to the magnesium spindle mount front wheels. The Randy Bradford built Hilborn injected 427 Big Block, Mikes Trans Ultimate 400 and the rest of the fresh Mark Williams drivetrain is capable of running competitively in modern nostalgia AFX but still looks like 1966. Zig magneto, Velasco billet crank, MGP aluminum rods, coated nitro pistons, Dart heads, block is o ringed for nitro. Fuel system is set up for alcohol but the engine is built to run nitro as well. Fire system on board, Chute Metal Co. parachute.
Multiple magazine cover car with a colorful racing career. It was a test bed for Engle Cams and Hilborn Fuel Injection. Dick Harrell even drove it several times which led to an Nickey 427 being put in it for the 67 season when it was renamed BLITZER. LOTS of history.
Original FX cars are rarely offered for sale. Most never survived the drag wars of the 60s.
NO expense spared. An insane amount of research and detail went into this, down to the correct beautiful House of Kolor gold metalflake paint and hand lettering done by Trickpaint in Wenatchee WA.
All documentation that we have collected, original old magazines featuring the car and new ones, books etc. will be included. There are so many details and historical information about this rare hot rod that a novel could be written so please contact me for more info.
