Just sitting here in the sauna... missing my bestie! sometimes life gets hectic and we have a hard time syncing our schedules, which has been the case lately. But I am forever thankful for 1) technology and 2) a friend who holds me accountable and encourages me regardless of whether or not we get our sauna dates all of the time. 😘

Y’all! It has been TOO long since we’ve gotten together. Between Christmas, New Years, the flu, the cold, part time jobs, kids, basketball games, dogs, and just life.. we’ve been passing each other as we come and go it seems! Which is sad, bc we’d really just like to hang out all the time, but we gotta adult too. Lol Fit is still happenin and today we made time in our crazy lives to have some much needed friend time! Maintaining friendships as an adult is hard! It’s not like middle school where you can have sleepovers and catch up every day at school. Life happens. You have a million other obligations. And you learn to appreciate those friendships that have real expectations. Ones that you can pick up right where you left off every time. Ones where you can call or text and say ‘hey, what’s up? Just checking in!’ And you’re good. Bc you know that those are your people. The ones who love you for you and take you as you are. The ones who refresh your spirit after you finally get to sit in the sauna for an hour and catch up. Those are your people and those are the people who you need to help you live your best life! ✌🏻

500 kettlebell swings in the bag this morning! When we first get here and honestly, through the first set of 100, we hate it. And we dread it. Then for the rest of the day we just feel like total badasses bc we knocked out 500 kb swings on our way to 10000 total. Your body can achieve so much more than you think. It’s your mind that you’ve got to convince. Do yourself a favor and challenge yourself this week physically. It’s worth it!

ALL the above results in less sleep or low quality of sleep AND
I feel pulled in 50 directions between Christmas and my busiest time of the year ahead.
Hmmm......... what shall one do..... Put your BIG KID PANTIES on and handle it.
Great LEG day smashed even though I didn’t “feel like it”, I’m going to drink a gallon of water and get my 7 fruits/veggies!
