It is with heavy hearts that we share that Coach Emily McNamara has sadly passed away.

Coach Mac, as she was better known, had an everlasting impact on countless players and on the program as a whole. Her passion for the game, her dedication to her players, and her belief in what this program could become shaped Hamilton Women’s Hockey in ways that will be felt for years to come. Beyond being a coach to so many, she was a mentor, a role model, and a constant source of support both on and off the ice.

Coach Mac’s legacy lives on in every player she coached and every life she touched along the way.

Hamilton Women’s Hockey is keeping Coach Mac’s family, friends, and players in our thoughts during this difficult time.

Congrats to Connor Thue ‘29 who was awarded the Charles A. Dana Prize yesterday at Convocation. The scholarship recognizes academic achievement, character and leadership.

Congratulations to Sebastian Hamming ‘28 (Regina, Saskatchewan) who was awarded the The Robert A. Bankert, Jr. Prize Scholarship today at Convocation. The Bankert prize was established in 1970 in memory of Robert A. Bankert, Jr., Class of 1970, by his family and friends. Preference is given to a student who has participated in extracurricular activities and who, at the beginning of the junior year, has shown the greatest improvement in academic average.
